Pedro Frutuoso returns to Dão Region to create signature wines. With a new
sense of time, Pedro produces selected wines on the family estate where he grew

“My grandparents, on both
sides, were a great influence on my life. I learned from them the meaning of

an entrepreneurial streak and the ability to surround himself with friends. My
paternal grandfather was a bon vivant, who knew how to enjoy life
and that was truly inspiring for me. Terra Chama is also a tribute to their

The Demarcated Region of the Dão was created in 1908. It was the first
demarcated wine region in the country for non-sweetened wines and the second
demarcated wine region in Portugal.
