We produce Dão wines from selected vineyards, where altitude, granite soils, and a Mediterranean climate with continental influence define a profile of elegance and freshness.
True to their origin, they are crafted with precision and minimal intervention.
REINTERPRETATION

Vineyards planted on granite soils, protected by the Serra da Estrela, Caramulo and Nave mountain ranges, offer unique conditions for slow and balanced ripening, resulting in structured, fresh and elegant wines with vibrant natural acidity.

Limited production, with an absolute focus on the vineyard and rigorous technical decisions. Terra Chama follows a minimal-intervention approach, privileging the expression of the grape and the terroir in each vintage.

Terra Chama is born from an ongoing relationship with the land and with time.
Its approach is rooted in exacting viticulture, careful grape selection, and precise winemaking, where every decision is guided by the preservation of authenticity and identity.
We pursue consistency while respecting the variations of each year, allowing every vintage to express itself in a unique way.

"We produce the best wine we can offer, every year, regardless of annual climate variations."

“Our purpose is always excellence, not quantity”

“Wine is a permanent search for perfection, work that is always unfinished. A quest to always do one’s best”

A wine that reflects the region, the terroir. A wine that was crafted by people true to its origins. A wine that surprises.

The Demarcated Region of the Dão was created in 1908. It was the first demarcated wine region in the country for non-sweetened wines and the second demarcated wine region in Portugal.

Limited production, direct control over every stage, and the absence of industrial scale allow us to ensure a rare level of detail and rigor. Each bottle is treated as an individual lot.

Designed to serve the wine, the winery prioritizes functionality, control, and precision. Winemaking is carried out by parcel, allowing decisions tailored to each lot and ensuring maximum fidelity to the origin.
“this is the wine I want to share with my friends.”
